Italy’s networks of advisers posted €2bn in March

92.5% of total inflows went into asset management products, industry association Assoreti has revealed.

Out of the total €2bn net inflows, €1.9bn went into asset management products, 23.2% up compared with February.

Administered asset products saw positive but still decreasing inflows of €150m, Assoreti also revealed.

Total net inflows of OICR (Italian law mutual funds and Sicavs) was of €755m, with savers still favouring foreign domiciled funds, which attracted €618m net inflows in March.

However, Italian domiciled OICR kept posting positive and growing inflows with growth equal to €155m.

Investments in insurance and pension products also grew by 56.7% in March compared with the previous month, posting some €862m net inflows. Unit linked products were also particularly successful, posting total net inflows of €569m.
