Italy’s Prisma SGR aims at €3bn AUM target by 2013

Italy’s global service provider Gruppo Kgs has acquired a share in independent asset manager Prisma SGR, as part of a capital increase announced by the company to finance its business development.

Following the deal, the Pesaro-based company owns a 9% share in the asset manager.

Entrepreneur Roberto Villa still owns a majority of Prisma SGR, with a 63% share, followed by Management (18,37%), Gruppo KGS (8,97%) and other investors (9,60%).

The capital increase is aimed at financing Prisma’s business development activities. The aim of the company is to reach €3bn by the end of 2013.

Prisma SGR was launched in 2010 and it mainly operates in real estate asset management. It currently has €1bn assets under management.
