Lazard names new chief for Italy

Lazard Fund Managers has appointed Laura Nateri as country head Italy.

Nateri (pictured), who will be based in Milan, will be responsible for the firm’s business development across the Italian market.

Nateri joins from Italy Aberdeen Asset Management, where she was the country head and head of Business Development across a wide range of channels including institutional, wholesale and retail.

Formerly, Nateri had worked for Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas Group, holding managing roles based in Italy.

Lazard Fund Managers is the distribution arm of Lazard Asset Management in continental Europe and LFG, distributing the UCITS funds managed by Lazard Asset Management and Lazard Frères Gestion.

The firm managed $215bn (€188.3bn) of assets as of 31 March 2017.
