M&G Investments appoints Italy director

M&G Investments has boosted its Italian team with the appointment of Manuel Pozzi as investment director.

Based in Milan, Pozzi will work closely with London’s investment teams, reporting to Neal Brooks, head of Business Management. With over 16 years of industry experience, Pozzi will focus on analysing key business and market issues as well as defining strategic portfolios, working with M&G’s leading multi-asset, bond and equity investment teams.

Before joining M&G in 2011, Pozzi has been portfolio manager at Banca Passadore and Banco Desio.

Pozzi has a degree in Economics at Bocconi University in Milan.

Matteo Astolfi, country head of M&G in Italy, said: “Manuel’s extensive experience and deep knowledge of the markets further qualify our customer service offering, allowing us to take the best possible advantage from the opportunities on the market.”

“The strengthening the team is accompanied by the growth of our business and confirms M&G’s willingness to be even closer to Italian consultants, private bankers and distributors,” Astolfi added.

Since the opening of the Italian office in 2014, M&G’s Italian team has grown steadily, with 22 professionals today.
