Michele Caronti to lead Russell Investments in Italy

Russell Investments has announced Michele Caronti as director, Head of Institutional, to lead its institutional business in Italy.

Caronti will report to Thomas Schneider, country head for Italy and will be responsible for building institutional business.

Caronti joins from London Capital Advisors (LCA), an advisory business for institutional investors that he founded in 2010.  Before this, Caronti held a variety of senior roles, predominantly in derivative and structured product distribution. He was head of derivatives and Structured products at Unicredit Group from 2007 to 2009 and head of Equity – Fund linked structures/derivatives at Merrill Lynch from 2005 to 2007.
