MPS adds Pimco funds to its offer

Forty-five Pimco’s funds have been added to Monte Paschi di Siena (MPS)’s adviser and private banker offering.

The two firms have signed an agreement according to which MPS will distribute 45 Pimco Sicav funds as part of its multi-brand offer.

Among the 45 funds added to MPS’ range include the Pimco Total Return Bond Fund, the world’s largest bond fund, as well as Pimco Global Bond Fund and Pimco Global Diversified Income.

Massimo Giacomelli, MPS’ head of financial advisory, said: “The agreement with Pimco upgrades our multi-brand offer, which currently includes asset management solutions for 30 investment firms and specialised societies.”

“Our clients are at the centre of our financial bankers’ attention, who constantly follow values such as independence and transparency in the best investors’ interests,” he concluded.
