Quercus Renewable Energy sells 90% of photovoltaic system to Polis Fondi SGR
Quercus Renewable Energy fund has announced the sale of Latina’s (south Rome) Marsolar photovoltaic system for a total of €6,57m.
Quercus Asset Selection, asset management specialised in renewable energy, has sold 90% of Marsolar Srl to Polis Fondi SGR.
Quercus Renewable Energy fund, launched in 2010 and aimed at selecting opportunities in renewable energy investments in Italy, was the first Sicav authorised by Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier.
Simone Borla, managing partner at Quercus, said: “The operation proves our ability to generate value regardless of the harsh conditions of financial markets. Institutional investors are increasingly looking at investing in the renewable energies sector.”
