Rottapharm files request to be listed on Borsa Italiana

Italy’s pharmaceutical company Rottapharm has submitted the request for admission to the Mercato Telematico Azionario (MTA) of Borsa Italiana and filed the programme for its IPO.

The company has concurrently filed a request with Consob, the Italian markets authority, for the approval of the Prospectus concerning the Public Offering and listing of its shares.

The global coordinators for the transaction are Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs International and JP Morgan, which, together with Jefferies, Morgan Stanley and Banca IMI have been appointed as Joint Bookrunners.

Banca IMI will act as Lead Manager for the Public Offering and Sponsor.
Shearman & Sterling LLP acted as legal advisor for Rottapharm whereas Latham & Watkins acted as legal adviser for the banks participating to the offer; Studio Tremonti Vitali Romagnoli Piccardi & Associati acted as tax advisor for Rottapharm and Reconta Ernst & Young is the appointed independent auditor.
