Spada quits Italy’s Consob after 18 years
Luigi Spada has left Italy’s watchdog Consob, where he was head of the division overseeing the activity of financial advisers, to join Bird & Bird, a UK law firm with offices in Italy.
Spada has been at Consob for 18 years, mainly working with investment firms and investment banks. He was also in charge of the register of ‘società di intermediazione mobiliare’.
At Bird & Bird, he will be senior counsel within the Banking & Finance practice. His role will be filled ad interim by Tiziana Togna.
