UBI appoints 16 from Banca Network
UBI Banca Private Investment has appointed 16 financial advisers to its Italian network, a spokeperson at the bank confirmed.
The newly-appointed professionals join UBI from Banca Network bringing to the bank aggregate assets under managed of €150m.
Claudia Della Torre, Sandro Gesa, Virgilio Cervoli, Mauro Gandola and Corrado Fasoli joined UBI in Como; Giovanni Rossi, GianBattista Chizzoni, Anna Bernardinelli, Francesco Martini, Fabio Magistrati and Mirko Bonfatti joined in Cremona; Andrea Genova in Piemonte: Antonio Silvestri in Milan; Andrea Nardelli, Giorgio Serpi and Maurizio Agostini in Rome.
Ubi’s network has about 750 advisers based in 25 offices, and the bank recently added seven professionals in Southern regions.
The 16 advisers are the latest of a number of departures from Banca Network, troubled lender which has been in administration since November 2011.
Italian asset manager Consultinvest confirmed in June the agreement to acquire Banca Network’s network of about 240 financial advisers, signing an individual contract with each of them.
But as reported by Investment Europe, over the last weeks several professionals have joined rival banks such as AZ Investimenti, Copernico and Fideuram.
