UBS: Italy remains a key market
Swiss investment bank UBS remains committed to the Italian market, where it aims at reaching €1bn net inflows, and assets under management at €24bn over the next months.
Speaking to the Italian press, Fabio Innocenzi, chief executive at the bank in Italy, confirmed that the domestic markets remains key, and that the bank is planning to open new branches and to have a network of 150 private bankers.
Italian households still retain an important stock of wealth, which UBS aims at attracting. The aim is to target local clients as an Italian banks, Innocenzi said.
