VanEck registers ETFs for Italy, Austria

VanEck Investments has registered a number of its ETF products in Italy and Austria as part of the next step in its business development across Europe.

The provider launched into the region with two gold miner ETFs and a US equity ETF in 2015. The latest registration move means investors in Italy and Austria will have access to all fund information, research, investment themes and other services, VanEck said. Currently it has ETF listings in London, Frankfurt and Zurich.

Uwe Eberle, head of International Business Development and Distribution, said: “We are committed to making our funds and services available to European investors, and registering our ETFs broadly allows us to respond to investors’ interests.”

The distribution focus is on Ucits ETFs, including: VanEck Vectors Gold Miners Ucits ETF (GDX), VanEck Vectors Junior Gold Miners Ucits ETF (GDXJ), and VanEck Vectors Morningstar US Wide Moat Ucits ETF.
