J. Safra Sarasin bolsters team
J. Safra Sarasin announced the appointment of three new joiners to further strengthen and develop the value proposition of J. Safra Sarasin products as well as to grow its international distribution business.
Bernhard Speiser joins from Western AM in London where he spent the last 15 years and built up the German and Swiss institutional business. For the past 3 years, Bernhard headed up EMEA client service and sales. At Bank J. Safra Sarasin, he will be co-head institutional clients with Daniel Graf.
Fabio Ferra heads up the Swiss & International wholesale distribution business for bank J. Safra Sarasin. Before joining the bank, Fabio spent six years at Aviva Investors in Zurich where he was responsible for the Swiss market entry of Aviva investors global services Ltd. Fabio has 15 years of experience in the Swiss & European wholesale market. For the last two and a half years, he was responsible for the global financial institutions group at Aviva Investors.
Felicity McAndrew also joins from Aviva Investors where her previous roles include head of client services – global financial institutions and European wholesale as well as senior client relationship manager. Felicity has 6 years of wholesale client service experience in both the UK and Switzerland due to her relocation from London to Zurich in 2012.
Both Bernhard and Fabio report to François Andriot who is responsible for the wholesale and institutional clients business at Safra Sarasin.

Furthermore the J. Safra Sarasin Group is pleased to announce that Wilhelm Schaefer joined as new head fixed income – bonds & absolute return within investment management.
Wilhelm brings more than 20 years of experience in fixed income AM to the team. He joins us from Vescore AM where he was responsible for the management of sustainable EUR and CHF fixed income funds. Previously he was successfully managing CHF, EUR and global fixed income funds at Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB).
At the same time Benoit Robaux transferred to the fixed income team from research as senior portfolio manager. Bank J. Safra Sarasin counts on three strong teams within fixed income, the bonds & absolute return team under the leadership of Wilhelm Schaefer, the total return team under the leadership of Stéphane Decrauzat and the global emerging markets team under the leadership of Gabriel Cedismondi.
