Kames launches diversified income fund

Kames Capital has announced the launch of a new Dublin domiciled diversified income fund aimed combining top-down macroeconomic views with bottom-up stock selection.

The fund will be managed by Vincent McEntegart, from Kames’ multi-asset team, who currently runs the UK-domiciled version of the fund.

The fund’s investment universe will include investment grade and high yield bonds, global equities, listed property and specialist income – including listed infrastructure, asset leasing and renewables, the portfolio will consist of 200 to 300 holdings.

It will aim to generate a monthly income of 5% per annum, with a target total return (income plus capital growth) of 7-8% after fees over the medium term of three to five years.

The fund will be available in the UK, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Guernsey, Ireland, Italy, Jersey, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Its base currency will be Euro, but there will also be US Dollar, Sterling, Swiss Franc and Swedish Krona share classes.
