Kempen joins Urban Land Institute

Kempen Capital Management announced that it has joined Urban Land Institute (ULI) as corporate member. ULI is a global non-profit research and education organization on real estate and urban development. The organisation drives innovation by conducting research on critical land use challenges. As part of the membership, Kempen will participate in ULI Europe’s content advisory group, which steers the topics that the Institute’s research addresses.

As corporate member Kempen will play an active role in ULI’s activities in key markets such as Japan, Australia, the United States and Europe. Over the years ULI has shown its tremendous commitment to further professionalize the worldwide real estate industry by conducting research. Examples on research topics with a major impact on urban development on the long-term are the introduction of smart cities and self-driving cars. The long-term approach corresponds to Kempen’s long-term focus regarding real estate investments.

Egbert Nijmeijer, senior portfolio manager at Kempen commented: “It is a great to be a part of ULI.
