Livret A outflows stood at €9.29bn in 2015

French public savings accounts Livret A have recorded €9.29bn outflows in 2015, the Caisse des dépôts (CDC) reported.

However, Livret A have faced net inflows of €290m in December 2015 after eight months recording outflows.

Assets invested in Livret A at end December 2015 amounted to €255.9bn.

Sustainable savings accounts (Livret de développement durable) managed by CDC have also seen inflows in December (€370m).

But on the whole year, they have recorded €1.72bn of outflows.

Assets invested in Livret de développement durable at end December 2015 amounted to €101.3bn.

With total outflows of €11.2bn, it has been the worst year since 1996 for French public savings accounts Livret A and Livret de développement durable.
