LLB appoints ex-Notenstein CEO

Vaduz based Liechtensteinische Landesbank (LLB) has appointed Patrick Fürer as chief operating officer and member of the executive board, subject to the approval of the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority (FMA).

Fürer will join LLB on 7 January 2019. As Group COO, he is responsible for Group IT, Group Operations & Services and Group Corporate Development. He is also responsible for the COO units of the subsidiaries.

Prior to joining LLB, Fürer was CEO of Notenstein La Roche Private Bank AG, St. Gallen. Before that, he was a member of the executive board of Bank Morgan Stanley AG Switzerland, Zurich, where as COO he expanded the Swiss business and led the integration of the branches in Hong Kong and Singapore. As CEO of the bank, he subsequently completed the sale of the Swiss business to Bank J. Safra Sarasin.
