Man GLG hires head of EM Debt

Man GLG has appointed Guillermo Ossés as head of Emerging Market Debt Strategies.

Ossés will be based in New York and report to Man GLG’s co-CEO Teun Johnston.

Ossés, who has 24 years of experience, joins the firm from HSBC Asset Management where he spent four years and led the firm’s emerging markets fixed income capabilities, managing in excess of $20bn.

Formerly, Ossés was an emerging markets fixed income portfolio manager at Pimco and held emerging markets positions at Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank.
