Midi Capital rebrands as M Capital Partners

French private equity firm Midi Capital, which claims to be the first French private investor, rebrands to M Capital Partners.

The Toulouse-headquartered company became independent in January 2016 after its managing partners acquired shares from regional banks of Caisse d’Epargne through a holding, M Partners.

It has drawn €77m inflows and invested in 67 companies in 2015.

Founded in 2001, M Capital Partners manages over €280m in assets.

It has offices in Marseille, Nice, Barcelona, Lyon and Paris and plans to establish itself in Brussels and Nantes.
