MSCI ESG Research appoints European head
MSCI has announced that Antti Savilaakso has joined its MSCI ESG Research team as European Head of ESG Research.
Based in London, Savilaakso will be responsible for the EMEA-based analyst team and reports to Linda-Eling Lee, global head of MSCI ESG Research.
Prior to MSCI ESG Research, Savilaakso was director of Responsible Investments at Nordea, the Nordic-based financial services group which manages approximately €170bn AUM.
Before Nordea, he worked with ESG analysis and corporate engagement at Responsible Research in Singapore, Dexia Asset Management in Brussels, and ABN AMRO Asset Management in Amsterdam.
He has conducted various types of ESG and related ethical analysis on more than a thousand companies globally.
