Confluence promotes Salvatore Pent to COO

Confluence, a Pittsburgh-based provider of  investment data management automation for regulatory, financial and investor reporting, has announced the promotion of Salvatore Pent (pictured) as Chief Operating Officer, in a bid to expand its European presence.

Based in London, Pent will oversee the company’s global professional and client services, business process outsourcing, product development and IT infrastructure and enterprise security operations.

He joined Confluence in 2014 as managing director of the company’s Global Product Delivery division. He previously held executive technology positions in treasury and securities services, electronic fund services, and treasury services management.

Among others he worked as executive director Treasury & Securities Services EMEA PMO with JP Morgan Chase

Commenting on the appointment, Mark Evans, chairman, president and CEO of Confluence, said: ‘As our business continues to grow across Europe and beyond, we have felt it necessary to have one of the company’s senior executives in London, both to demonstrate our commitment to the market and to handle the scale of our growing global operations.”
