Pimco hires four to UK and US equities teams
Pimco has announced the appointments of Megan Kulick, Mark Richards, Daniel Lacalle, Chris Legg and Akash Ghiya to its equities teams in the UK and US.
As of October 16, Megan Kulick will start as senior vice president at Pimco’s New York office, she will focus on Pimco’s pathfinder value strategy. Kulick joins Pimco from Steinberg Asset Management, where she most recently held the position of partner and senior investment analyst.
Akash Ghiya joins Pimco’s Newport Beach offices as vice president as of mid October, he will cover Pimco’s long-short strategy. Ghiya joins Pimco from Pine Cobble Capital LLC, where he was a partner and in charge of equities long/ short.
Pimco has also appointed Daniel Lacalle and Chris Legg to its London office, Lacalle will hold the position of senior vice president covering energy and utilities as of November, Legg will start as vice president focused on commodities as December.
Lacalle joins Pimco from Ecofin Ltd, where he most recently worked as senior portfolio manager. Legg joins from Nevksy Capital, a global hedge fund, he previously worked as analyst covering the commodities sector.
