Pictet adds three to thematic equities team

Pictet Asset Management has added three senior investment managers to its thematic equities investment team.

All three will be based in Geneva.

Simon Gottelier joins as senior investment manager for the Water strategy. Formerly, he worked at Impax Asset Management in New York where he managed the Impax Global Water strategy.

He also co-managed the All-Cap Resource Optimisation ‘Leaders’ strategy. Prior to joining Impax, Gottelier held roles at Veolia Environment, Deutsche Bank and NM Rothschild, where he began his career in 1998.

Peter Lingen joins as senior investment manager to co-manage, alongside Karen Kharmandarian, the Robotics strategy launched in October 2015.

He joins from Swedbank Robur where he managed the Technology and Folksam Framtidsfond fund.

Lingen began his investment career in 1996 as a senior investment analyst for Coller Capital Limited in London.

Christian Roessing joined the thematic equities team at the end of 2015 as senior investment manager for the Clean Energy strategy.

Formerly, he worked at Vontobel Asset Management where he spent over seven years, most recently as deputy portfolio manager for the Vontobel Fund – Clean Technology.

He started his career as a financial analyst in 2004.
