Pictet names global head of Institutional Business

Geneva based Pictet Asset Management has appointed Niall Quinn as the global head of Institutional Business (excluding Japan).

Based in London, he will take up his new duties at the end of February 2016.

Quinn succeeds Christoph Lanter, who retires after 17 years with Pictet Asset Management.

Quinn has 20 years of experience in the asset management industry. Formerly, he worked as managing director of Eaton Vance Management International, where he was responsible for all their operations outside North America, focusing on institutional business development.

As at end September 2015, Pictet Asset Management managed £98bn (€128.7bn) in assets.
