PowerShares launches Eurostoxx ETF

PowerShares has launched a new dividend ETF on Deutsche Boerse trading platform Xetra, offering investors access to eurozone companies.

The ETF, which is Ucits compliant, aims to combine dividend and low volatility strategies by tracking the EURO iSTOXX High Dividend Low Volatility 50 Index.

According to PowerShares, The weighting of the individual companies in the reference index is based on the historical one-year dividend yields whereby each company is limited to a maximum weighting of three percent and only a maximum of ten companies per country can be included.

The new fund has a total expense ratio of 0.3 percent and a distributing policy, it brings the total of ETFs traded on Deutsche Boerse to 1,123.
