Bulgarian boutique to launch first ETF

Bulgarian investment firm Expat Asset Management is to launch its first ETF on the Bulgarian stock exchange.

The Expat Bulgaria Sofix Ucits ETF will fully replicate the blue-chip Sofix index of Sofia’s bourse.

The company specified that the fund may invest in treasury deposits and government securities, only for liquidity management and compliance restrictions.

Expat Asset Management also runs three mutual funds : Expat Emerging Markets Stocks, Expat Global Equities and Expat Bonds.

The firm, part of Expat Capital, has over $40m (€35.3m) of AUM.
