Exclusive: Mauritius advisory firm opens Monaco branch

Mauritius-headquartered financial services firm Victoria Capital Management has established a branch in the Principality of Monaco in November 2017, InvestmentEurope can reveal.

Monaco’s branch is chaired by Paolo Di Giovanni, who was previously head of Wealth Management of Groupe Financier de Gestion Monaco. It is understood new offices will be opened in Lugano, Switzerland and Dubai.

The firm’s investment division VCM Asset Management looks into active bond, equity and absolute return strategies. And that other areas of expertise include the constitution and management of investment funds, the analysis of existing investments including asset allocation, specific products, associated costs, performance attribution, documentation and transactions, the creation of products such as capital protected notes, certificates or leveraged products linked to equities, funds, hedge funds, interest rates or hybrid securities.

Di Giovanni has been followed by Frederico Lazzeretti, who joined Victoria Capital Management as investment advisor at the beginning of 2018.
