Life appoints new chairman in New York

The Lebanese international finance executives organisation (Life) has appointed Wissam Kairouz (picture) as the new chairman of its New York committee.

Kairouz is a managing director at Morgan Stanley’s Leveraged & Acquisition Finance Group in New York, where he oversees the group’s industry practices in healthcare, media and financial services.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2009, he was a managing director in the Global Leveraged Finance group at Merrill Lynch. He also worked at BlackRock as fixed income manager.

Founded in 2009, Life aims to establish stronger bonds, support the next generation of finance executives and promote Lebanon.
