Reyl expands Dubai office

Geneva headquartered Reyl Group has announced the appointment of Loulwa Bakr (pictured) as an independent board member of Reyl Finance (MEA).

Reyl Finance (MEA) recently gained a commercial license from Dubai Financial Services Authority, enabling it to carry out wealth management, asset management and corporate advisory services.

Bakr will join Dominique Paladini, Teofilo Masera, Dominique Lecoq and Pasha Bakhtiar on the current board.

She joins from Credit Suisse, where she most recently worked as head of investment banking Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, she worked among others at Capital Group, the Saudi Arabia National Commercial Bank and Samba financial.

Managing director Pasha Bakhtiar comments on her appointment: “Having developed a deep understanding in these matters with a valuable local insight, Ms Bakr will undoubtedly play an integral role in implementing our growth strategy.”
