RLAM appoints senior fund manager

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has appointed Richard Marwood as senior fund manager.

He will report to Piers Hillier, RLAM’s chief investment officer.

In his new position, Marwood will work closely with RLAM’s equities team, including Martin Cholwill, UK equity income fund manager, who he worked with previously.

Marwood joins from AXA Investment Management where he spent 20 years running a diverse range of funds focused on both UK equities and multi asset portfolios.

“RLAM will look closely at potential fund opportunities playing to Richard’s strengths,” the firm said.

RLAM’s equities team has £27.3bn (€35.1bn) of assets under management, with £17.5bn (€22.5bn) in UK equities.
