Russell Investments launches German wealth management offering

US asset manager Russell Investments has announced the launch of its new wealth management offering aimed at family offices, private banks and HNWI clients.

Based in Frankfurt, the group has been targeting institutional investors in the German speaking region since 2011. It now aims to expand the distribution of its multi-asset and multi manager strategies to the wealth management segment.

The group has appointed Philippe Hoffmann (pictured), who has been part of the Germany team since 2011, to head the new Wealth Management office. Hoffmann will report directly to Martijn Kuipers, managing director and head of Northern Europe at Russell Investments.

Russell Investments has also appointed Julian Wess, who joins from VR Genossenschaftsbank Bank Fulda, to head the client services division.
