Schroders appoints head of EMEA Marketing

London headquartered Schroders has appointed Courtney Waterman as head of EMEA Marketing.

She will be responsible for leading the UK and European Marketing teams, as well as creating a strategic framework for in-country teams.

Waterman joins from BlackRock where she was head of EMEA Institutional Marketing.  She has over 20 years’ experience working in marketing for global asset management companies including Janus Capital International and Fidelity International.

In addtion, Peter Beckett has been named head of Content and Digital, a newly created role.

Beckett will be in charge of digital marketing, marketing services (RFP) and investment communications.

He  has been at Schroders for 8 years as head of UK and International Marketing and has over 15 years’ experience working on content-led marketing initiatives.

Both will be based in London and will report to James Cardew, global head of Marketing.

Schroders had £313.5bn (€425.4bn) of assets under management as at 31 December 2015.
