Schroders launches first global multi credit fund

Schroders has launched its first global multi credit strategy, the Schroder ISF Global Multi Credit fund.

The non-benchmarked fund will invest across global credit markets, including investment grade, high yield, EM sovereign and credit, ABS, municipals and convertibles, to take advantage of opportunities globally.

The fund, aiming to deliver a strong total return, will be managed by the credit team based in London, as part of Schroders’ well established global credit platform with Patrick Vogel, head of European Credit at Schroders, as lead fund manager.

Schroders managed around €20bn at end March 2016 in European and global credit strategies on behalf of clients around the world.

Vogel commented :”There is a strong demand for flexible credit strategies aiming for total returns. This unconstrained strategy has the flexibility to capture opportunities in global credit allowing us to take advantage of non-synchronous credit cycles to deliver return.”

Schroders has €409.7bn of assets under management.
