Schroders reshuffles multi-asset team after head exit

Schroders has reshuffled its multi-asset and portfolio solutions teams in the aftermath of Nico Marais’ departure.

Marais was head of Schroders’ Multi-Asset Investments and portfolio solutions teams since March 2011.

The firm said he will not be replaced and has appointed Johanna Kyrklund as global head of Multi-Asset Investments.

The portfolio solutions team has been separated from the multi-asset investments’ business. It will be co-led by John McLaughlin and Andrew Connell.

In addition, Kyrklund will continue to head Schroders’ global asset allocation committee.

As of 31 March 2016, Schroders managed €409.7bn in assets.
