Allfunds names Asia regional manager while relocates the former to Madrid

Allfunds Bank has appointed Alexis Fosler as regional manager of Asia succeeding David Pérez de Albéniz, who is to be relocated back to Allfunds Madrid as chief transformation officer.

Fosler (pictured), who will be reporting to Allfunds Bank deputy general manager and chief commercial officer Gianluca Renzini, joins Allfunds from the Warranty Group, where she was North Asia head, responsible for businesses in China, Japan and Korean.

With over 20 years’ financial experience in Asia, Fosler previously held various senior positions at different companies including Northern Trust Hedge Fund Services, Omnium LLC., and Citi.

Former regional manager of Asia Pérez de Albéniz was appointed chief transformation officer (CTO) in the summer of 2017, a role he had to combine alongside his responsibilities in Asia. Now, he will be focusing solely on his role as CTO in Allfunds Madrid office. Before working in Singapore, he was regional manager Middle East for Allfunds.

Juan Alcaraz, CEO of Allfunds, said: “I am delighted to welcome Alexis to Allfunds. She has joined at one of the most exciting times in the company’s history and it is a pleasure to have her as part of our team. She brings with her a wealth of industry knowledge and we are fortunate to have her expertise as we expand in Asia. I am also pleased to welcome back David to Madrid. He has been an integral part of setting up Allfunds in Asia and we look forward to him expanding in his new role as Chief Transformation Officer.”

Allfunds Bank, with over €360bn assets under administration, offers more than 64,400 funds from over 1,200 fund managers.
