azValor adds Catholic values to new equity fund
Spanish value equity investment manager azValor Asset Management has launched alongside Spanish eafi Altum Faithful Investing the Altum Faith-Consistent Equity Fund, a Catholic-inspired equity strategy.
Altum Faith-Consistent Equity Fund, governed by the principles of the Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church, will be managed by azValor and advised by Altum regarding the ethical criteria of the portfolio.
The fund’s minimum investment is €100 for the retail customer and €1,000 either for the institutional one or for those receiving explicit financial advice.
Altum Faith-Consistent Equity Fund is already available in Allfunds with a pre-registration period ending at the end of May, and from the beginning of June will start to trade. During this initial period the participant will not have to pay any cost.
Borja Barragán founded Altum Faithful Investing in April 2018, with the aim of giving investment solutions, at the same time seeking the strong and stable growth of the wealth with minimum cost, by applying Catholic principles in every investment decision.
The Spanish eafi – whose investment principles are based on the defence of family, life, human dignity, and the protection of the creation – aims at advising religious institutions, foundations, and any individual with Christian orientation.
