BBVA AM unifies sales & marketing teams under Carrasco management

BBVA Asset Management has integrated the sales team of commercial banking, private banking and BEC and Pensions together with the marketing team following Gonzalo Meseguer departure.

The departure has forced BBVA AM to reorganise its executive board, taking among other decisions that of unifying both the sales and the marketing teams together.

Although Meseguer former position – commercial and marketing director – will not be replaced, David Carrasco has been elected to be responsible for the new integrated team.

Prior to being appointed, Carrasco worked as director of pensions for BBVA Spain and also as director of the BBVA Pensions Institute.

In addition, Luis Vadillo will be responsible for the entity’s Employment business in order to maintain its integrity as well as increasing the leadership in the segment of institutional pension clients currently run by the BBVA Group.
