Cobas AM launches four funds in Luxembourg

Spanish investment firm Cobas Asset Management, led by renowned fund manager Francisco García Paramés, has registered four value equity funds in Luxembourg.

After Cobas AM received the approval of Luxembourg financial watchdog CSSF on 2 March 2017, the firm launched Cobas Global fund whose strategy mirrors that of the Cobas Selección FI fund.

The manager has launched three more funds, all replicating Cobas’ Spanish fund range, on 28 April 2017 : Cobas International fund, Cobas Iberian fund and Cobas Large Cap fund.

The Cobas International fund will invest mainly in global equities from any sector and type of company. Investments will be focused on the OECD countries, but it can invest up to 40% of its assets in emerging market equities.

The Cobas Iberia fund will be exposed to at least 75% of Iberia equities from any company and sector.

As for the Cobas Large Cap fund, it will invest more than 70% of the total assets in global equities.
