Diaphanum SV hires three for growth push

Spain’s securities company Diaphanum SV has appointed Francisco Gómez, Olivier Disler and Cristina Morodo aimed at bolstering the company’s growth in Spain.

Francisco Gómez joins Diaphanum from Bankinter, where he worked as a financial agent. Throughout his 25 years’ financial experience, Gómez worked at various companies including Banif Bank and Santander Private Banking.

Over the past 17 years, Oliver Disler has worked for a wide range of firms such as UBS AG – in Spain and Switzerland -, Bankinter, Roth & Partner AG (based in Switzerland) and Barcelona-based Eafi ExtraValor.

Before joining Diaphanum, Cristina Morodo worked at different companies including Cap Gemini E&Y, Allfunds Bank and Estelar Advisers. During her 20 years’ profesional career – based both in the UK and in Spain – Morodo focused on alternative investment analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate operations.

The three appointments come immediately after the company announced it had reached over €600m of assets under administration as of the end of January, just one year later it was launched.

Diaphanum SV, based in Madrid, has already started its expansion with the opening of the Alicante office and has also unveiled its plans for opening new branches in Spain.
