EDM’s fund manager Juan Grau to retire

Spain’s veteran equity fund manager Juan Grau has announced his retirement from EDM Inversión fund management after 29 years managing the equity fund.

Despite Grau is handing over the day-to-day management of the fund, he will remain as a partner of EDM, the firm’s board of directors and its asset allocation committee.

Grau is a founding partner of EDM since 1989 and currently is also a member of the board of directors of EDM Holding.

From now on, EDM Inversión fund will be co-managed by Ricardo Vidal and Alberto Fayos, who started co-managing the fund alongside Grau in 2015.

EDM Inversión is an equity fund invested in a number of Spanish companies selected through an exhaustive analysis. It seeks to create value resulting from the progression of company profits, focusing on low exposure to the economic cycle and the visibility of their results with a long term investment horizon.
