Exclusive: BNP Paribas hires Iberia head of equity derivatives sales

Paris-headquartered BNP Paribas has appointed Joaquín Gutiérrez as head of equity derivatives sales Iberia.

From Madrid, Gutiérrez will be responsible for equity derivatives, Ucits funds, risk premia sales to institutions across asset structured products sales to private banks and distributors.

He joins BNP Paribas from Goldman Sachs in London, where he worked as an executive director in equity derivatives sales with clients based in Spain, Portugal and Andorra for around three years and a half.

Formerly, Gutiérrez worked at Morgan Stanley as an Iberia derivatives sales for nearly two years also London-based. Prior to that, he worked at Nomura for more than seven years also responsible for equity derivative sales to Spain, Portugal and Andorra.
