Henderson Property and Barclays Wealth strengthen Spanish teams
Henderson Global Investors has hired Javier Cuellar (pictured) as portfolio manager for its Spanish office, part of its £12.4bn property arm.
The appointment aims to strengthen the company’s management activity in the Spanish market and build on the growth of its property business since its launch in Spain in 2007.
Before joining Henderson’s property division, Javier Cuellar was at Unibail Rodamco and Redevco where he worked in asset and investment management. His responsibilities included repositioning and asset management projects as well as acquisition processes for several shopping centres.
Barclays Wealth Management
Miguel Morán has been appointed president of Barclays Wealth Management in Spain.
Morán joined Barclays in the Summer as head of the company’s investment team in Spain.
He joined from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He is experienced in investment management and before he joined PwC he was responsable fpr investments at DWS Investments Spain and at Nmas1Gestión. Before that he was an investment analyst at Fidelity Investments and at Analistas Financieros Internacionales.
