Iván Martín leaves Santander AM for new project
Spanish equity manager Iván Martín Aránguez has left Santander Asset Management after two years to start his own project.
The equity manager joined Santander AM in 2012 from Aviva Gestión, where he had worked for six years.
According to the local press, Martín Aránguez will be launching his own Madrid-based boutique, which will have in the advisory board UK hedge fund manager Crispin Odey and his wife Nichola Pease, the former CEO of JO Hambro Capital Management, Bloomberg has also revealed.
It is also understood that Martín Aránguez is planning to launch two funds which will have around €100m in assets.
