Mutuactivos bets on transformation with new hire

Spanish asset manager Mutuactivos has appointed Inés Lorente as responsible for the Transformation, Processes and Products area, to be reporting directly to the firm’s CEO Luis Ussia.

Lorente will be mainly responsible for coordinating the launch of new investment products, among other functions.

With over 15 years’ financial experience, Lorente joins Mutuactivos from Bankinter where she worked as the Business Centre director. Prior to that, she worked as director of Large Accounts at Allfunds Bank and formerly at Morgan Stanley’s Private Banking unit.

The appointment comes in a period of growth for the entity – having recently appointed Emilio Ortiz as the firm’s investment director and following the launch of its 2018-2020 strategic plan.

Mutuactivos has over €6.5bn in assets under management.
