Orienta Capital promotes two following analysis director departure

Orienta Capital analysis director Pablo del Río has left the firm after having worked nearly seven years for the Spanish manager.

Pablo Valdés (pictured) and Miguel Corral have been both promoted as heads of analysis taking del Río’s former responsibilities.

Orienta Capital has also unveiled its plans to expand the analysis team with new hires.

Del Río, who leaves the firm as well as the financial sector, has worked over seven years at Orienta Capital where, as a partner-director of investments, he was responsible for defining the firm’s global policy of investments and for carrying out its macro analysis, among other tasks.

He joined Orienta from Elcano Real Estate, where for a year he held the role of financial director. Prior to that, he worked as a financial projects analyst in the renewable energy sector at Attest.

Orienta Capital changed its status in November 2017 following CNMV’s approval to become and thus operate as an asset manager.
