Spanish Eafi confirms its status of independent adviser

Afi Inversiones Financieras Globales (Afi Global Financial Investments) has confirmed its status of independent adviser in response to Mifid II new requirements.

The Spanish Eafi (Spain’s IFA) Afi Inversiones Financieras Globales, which fully belongs to the Afi Group, has also launched a new website, in which the firm emphasises its independent financial advisory services to institutional clients such as investment vehicles (investment funds, pension plans, etc), to institutions (financial institutions, insurance companies,…), and to retail clients.

“MiFID II does not change our philosophy, nor the way we provide our services, which has always been characterised by the independence of all our recommendations, without perceiving incentives of any kind. We just receive income from our clients, so independence and alignment of interests is guaranteed, “says David Cano, CEO of the firm and partner of Afi.
