Spanish funds’ AUM grow by €9bn in June

Spain’s Inverco has reported that assets under management of Spanish funds have grown by some €9bn in June, which represents a 3.4% YoY increase.

The total amount of Spanish funds’ assets under management stands at €272bn over the first half of the year.

In June, Spanish funds’ assets under management grew by €573m, an extra 0.2% increase compared to the previous month.

As per funds’ categories, global funds led the ranking growing by €586m in June, followed by equity funds that saw their assets under management up by €196m.

“Spanish funds recorded net subscriptions in June despite the current uncertainty present in markets, positioning themselves as the favourite saving product for Spanish investors,” Inverco said.

Spanish funds recorded €734m of net subscriptions in June, gathering more than €11bn of net new money over the first half of 2018.
