UBP Spain moves headquarters to Madrid and names Iberia CEO

Swiss financial group Union Bancaire Privée (UBP) is set to open an office in Madrid moving its headquarters from Barcelona to the Spanish financial hub.

UBP, which will maintain an office in Barcelona providing commercial support,  has named Felipe Lería as the chief executive officer (CEO) for Iberia after the company announced Carmen Bañuelos departure.

Before being promoted, Lería worked as the Marketing and Commercial director for UBP Spain after twelve years working at the company.

UBP has also appointed Cristina García de Sola as senior sales for Iberia, who joins the Swiss Group from M & G Investments, where she worked during more than seven years, first as a business development manager and later as the sales manager of the entity.
