Standard Life appoints Italy business development manager

Standard Life Investments, with assets under management (AUM) of €323.6bn as at 30 June, has appointed Cinzia Daghero as business development manager in the Italian team.

Daghero, who will focus on the development of Italian client base and support to institutional and wholesale investors, will report to Arcangelo Barletta, investment director Italy & Ticino at Standard Life Investments.

Daghero joins from Invesco Asset Management, where she started her career in client service department and then became a junior relationship manager in charge of supporting institutional clients. Graduated in Banking and Finance at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, she currently is a CFA program candidate.

“The appointment of Cinzia Daghero is part of Standard Life Investments’ broader development strategy in Italy which includes the strengthening of the sales team and a strong focus on the broadening and deepening of institutional, wholesale and retail clients in a market that, for us still has great growth potential,” Barletta said.

Standard Life’s AUM for the region have increased almost 10% over the year to €38bn as at end of June 2016.
