Summit Partners makes seven appointments

Summit Partners, the US headquatered investment adviser that helps entrepreneurs use capital markets to generate more growth in their businesses, has made seven appointments to its offices in Boston and Menlo Park.

David Averett, who leads and oversees management of the Peak Performance Group at Summit Partners, has been promoted to managing director.

Adam Britt, a founding member of Summit Partners Credit Advisers, which does structuring and negotiation of private credit investments, has been promoted to managing director.

Andrew Collins, who has been titled principal since 2014 and worked on investments into enterprise software and internet companies, has been promoted to managing director.

Robert Hassell, another founder of Summit Partners Credit Advisers, has also been promoted to managing director.

Michael Medici, who has served as principal overseeing technology sector related investments since 2012, has been promoted to managing director.

Jesse Lane, who focused on healthcare and life sciences, has been promoted to principal, havig been at Summit Partners since 2007, first as an associate and more recently as vice president.

Gabriel Carreiro has been promoted to vice president for his work in Summit Partners Credit Advisers, particularly in the area of legal work relating to deal structuring and execution.
